Cricketers - Love for the game or money & fame?

Ask my opinion and I will say that they love all “game, fame and money” and they should. We all our professionals like our cricketers, so we as an individual love all three things specified above, so why shouldn’t our cricketers, they are no saints or social workers (no offences to any of the professions). They surely love the game; this is why they can handle thousands of roaring sounds, rain, heat, sunlight, etc. for complete 8 hours in diving, bowling and batting positions. Can we do that, irrespective of the fact that we get large amount of moolah. So the thing is clear that they love game, money and fame, because the last two are what that this game has given them, they deserve it because cricket is a healthy and wealthy profession.

Let’s discuss it with an example, take this current opening as a “Game”. I get selected for this current opening, it will surely give me fame in my social circle (everyone knows how big “GOOGLE” is. You can see even the font size is big). It will give me money (I firmly believe). Is this wrong? Isn’t it what our cricketers are doing?

Money matters, but when we have god-like figures, such as Sachin Tendulkar and Saurav Ganguly, showing the same commitment as they are 18 year old at an middle age, it shows that they love the game, because money and fame is that they have in billions.

This is fact that cricket is a religion that everyone follows, so we are the ones who preach it, and cricketers are those people who actually do it, so the fame and money is a reward to our cricketers for expanding our “religion” that bars all castes, creeds and languages.
